MEP Commercial Manager – Netherlands

Our client is an established main contractor working across Europe specialising in the delivery of Data Centre construction projects on behalf of global blue-chip clients. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works 

The need now exists for an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to join the team working on a Hyper-Scale Data Centre new build scheme in Groningen. Netherlands.

This role will be responsible, reporting to the Project Commercial Director, for an MEP package of works at circa €200m

Duties will include

• Close partnership with the Senior Project Manager, functional reporting line to project Commercial Director
• Responsible for the content of the project reporting and project cash flow management
• Responsibility for all commercial project related topics and commercial optimization of the project
• Control and monitoring of all commercial resources and agendas in the project (purchasing, project controlling, scheduling)
• Preparation of budget and forecast - cooperation in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
• Maintaining customer relationship and claim management

Skills, qualification & experience:

6+ years' experience in a similar role

Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying

Attention to detail and analytically proficient

Data Centre experience would be advantageous but not essential, would also consider similar backgrounds such as pharmaceutical, battery plants, biomedical etc
